The support to farmers was made visible by setting up several committees that disbursed agricultural loans to genuine farmers through the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Rivers chapter.

Chief Adikema disclosed this during the opening ceremony of the Fish Farming Workshop organised by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Federal Department of Fisheries in conjunction with the fisheries society of Nigeria.

The agric boss urged participants to go into fish farming, considering the fact that it yields fast and in a way would assist in paying back the loans to the banks promptly.
