Print This Page Kerman to become one of Iran’s top 10 inland fish producer provinces
TEHRAN - Kerman Province, located in the southeast of Iran, will soon be among the nation’s top ten land-locked fish producer provinces, noted Deputy Agricultural Jihad Minister Sha’banali Nezami.“In the near future, we are planning to launch two fish hatcheries in Kerman Province,” noted Nezami, who is also head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization.
The measure is expected to lead to the inclusion of Kerman Province in the list of the nation’s major non-littoral fish producer regions, ILNA news agency quoted the official as saying on Tuesday.
