ROMANIA - Over 50% is Romania and Bulgaria’s freshwater aquaculture.Carp account for the main production, the director general of the Romanian Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture Gheorghe Stefan said during a tripartite meeting between Bulgaria, Romania and officials from the European Commission for Fisheries and Marine Affairs.
According to him Romania stops fishery of sturgeon fish in the Danube river for a period of 10 years.
