Print This Page Japanese company invests US $10 million to produce fish feed
JAPAN - Higashimaru Co., Ltd from Japan has signed an agreement to lease land for the building of a plant to produce feed for shrimp and catfish farming at Tan Huong industrial zone in Tien Giang southern province.The contract was signed between Higashimaru and Nhut Thanh Tan Ltd. Co on February 28.
Mr Tsutomu Higashi, deputy general director of Higashimaru, said that construction of the factory will be started in early March on an area of 28,000 square metres. It is expected that the plant will produce 10,000 tonnes of feeds per year.
