Print This Page MOU Between India and Vietnam on Bilateral Cooperation in the Field of Fisheries and Aquaculture
INDIA - The Union Cabinet today gave its approval to the MOU to be signed between India and Vietnam on bilateral cooperation in the field of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
The salient features of MOU are as under :
- the exchange of information and data;
- the exchange of government officials, scientists, research assistants, specialists, fisheries extension workers between the two countries.
- cooperation in the field of training for administrative officers, researchers and human resources in fisheries and aquaculture;
- the promotion and encouragement of direct cooperation between the businesses of the two Parties in investment, joint-venture establishment, technology transfer in the fields of fishing, aquaculture, fish processing, fishery export/import and other fishery-related industries;
The MOU shall enter into force from the date of signature by both parties and shall remain effective for unlimited period.
