Print This Page Increasing value of exported seafood
NORWAY - The export value of Norwegian seafood reached NOK 9.8 billion in the first quarter, an increase by NOK 1.4 billion - or 16.5 per cent compared with the same periode last year.This is shown by fresh figures from Statistics Norway (SSB) and the Export Council for Fish.
The export in March was valued at NOK 3.6 billon, up NOK 358 million.
The figures for both the first quarter and for March are new records.
