Off to expo to sell our fish
UK - Shetland seafood firms will gather together in force next week to attend the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels. |
The exhibition brings together international seafood buyers and sellers and is considered the 'one-stop shop' for reaching global seafood markets.
Product launches will be performed by Shetland Smokehouse, Johnson Sustainable Seafoods (JSS) and Hjaltland Seafarms, Framgord and Shetland Seafish will also attend.
All the companies going to Brussels will be promoting Shetland seafood in an attempt to widen their markets.
Shetland Aquaculture will be supporting all its member firms from Shetland including those not attending.
Shetland Smokehouse will be promoting its new recipe for fresh pate, JSS will be introducing their new line of No Catch products and Hjaltland will promote its value added products to be launched in December
Managing director of No Catch Karol Rzepkowski said: "The European buyers have already expressed huge interest in our new products and now there's something for everyone with the addition of the fresh sustainable, organic No Catch... Just Fish Fingers to our 'family' of products."
