Print This Page Western Kingfish aims for aquaculture
AUSTRALIA - Fish farming hopeful Western Kingfish Ltd is looking to raise $8 million in a bid to establish an aquaculture enterprise at Jurien Bay in Western Australia.Western Kingfish will look to raise the $8 million through the sale of shares and list on the Australian stock exchange in August.
Managing director Stewart Graham said proceeds from the initial public offer would fund the development of the existing aquaculture activities, which will be used to farm Yellowtail Kingfish.
"As well as producing Yellowtail Kingfish, the company also plans to apply aquaculture to the warehousing and grow-out of Western Rock lobster," Mr Graham said.
