VIET NAM - Shrimp processors and exporters will have their own associations under the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

A freshwater fish association is also proposed, says the Ministry of Fisheries.

The two VASEP groups will bring together businesses involving in processing and exporting shrimp and freshwater fish products to help each other in their operation and improve Vietnam's seafood competitive edge.
