KENYA - The Government will construct ten new fish landing beaches along the shores of Lake Victoria at a cost of Sh180 million.Livestock and Fisheries minister, Mr Joseph Munyao, said the beaches will be established to boost the industry along the shores of lake Victoria. Munyao said eight other beaches will be given a facelift.
The new sites include Wichlum, Port Victoria, Ogal and Nyandiwa, which will be implemented under a new plan for Lake Victoria region.
