Festival to celebrate valuable industry
13 September 2007CANADA - Nova Scotia's aquaculture industry will be celebrated this Saturday (September 15) at the Aquaculture Harvest Festival in Shelburne.
The aquaculture industry in the province is valued at about $42 million. In Shelburne County, there are 23 aquaculture sites. Free seafood samples will be available and local musicians will provide entertainment. A touch tank and face painting will add to the fun for children.
The festival will run between 1.00 and 4.00 pm. at the Guild Hall. Admission is free.
