Aiming For Developments In Agriculture, Fisheries Sector
BRUNEI - The Minister of Industry and Primary Resources (MIPR), Pehin Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Ahmad Hj Jumat, yesterday hosted a breakfast meeting at the Empire Hotel and Country Club's Li Gong Restaurant for Mr Niu Dun, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, Ministry of China.Also in attendance yesterday were MIPR's Deputy Minister Dato Paduka Hj Hamdillah Hj Abd Wahab, as well as other senior officers and officers from the ministry.
It was a chance for all to discuss further. the opportunities for both country's developments in the agriculture and fisheries sector, as well as other related topics, in a more relaxed setting.
Following breakfast, Mr Niu Dun and the Chinese delegates went on a trip to Semaun Aquaculture in Tutong. They were met there by its General Manager Robinson Tuah, as well as officers from Semaun and the government.
Mr Niu Dun was brought on a tour in a four-wheel drive through the Semaun estate with Production Manager Eduardo Figueras was present to provide some background information and brief explanations on their various activities.
