Print This Page Intervet Sponsors First Fish Health Master Class
Thailand - The Australian Centre for International Agricultural research (ACIAR) and the Crawford Foundation recently funded a 2-week master class on aquatic animal pathology in Bangkok, Thailand.
The course from 12 -23 November was coordinated through the University of Murdoch and the department of Fisheries Western Australia.
Murdoch University, Department of Fisheries Western Australia, AAHRI in Thailand and NACA collaborated in implementing the Master class.
The course focused on training candidates in reading and interpretation of slides to understand normal histology, pathological processes, tissue pathology, disease case studies and artefacts.
Dr L. Labrie from Intervet Norbio Singapore was invited to participate in the Master class and give a presentation on Intervet's research to the participants.
