Aquaculture Trail Incorporated in 2008 Guide

Bigger than previous years, the new publication has 84 pages, four more than it traditionally has had.

Tourism Eyre Peninsula marketing officer Paula Hartwig said this was partly because the guide had incorporated the seafood and aquaculture trail, which was previously published as a stand-alone document.

Ms Hartwig said an increase in operators - including some new ones - choosing to advertise in the guide had also boosted the pages.

New business Coffin Bay Explorer features on the front page, with customers tasting the Bay’s famous oysters.

Ms Hartwig said what set this guide apart was it had something written about every town, and feedback so far had been positive.

The guide has been presented to take readers on a journey of the peninsula, starting from Whyalla, travelling down the east coast, then up the west coast and almost to the border before heading across to Port Augusta.
