Print This Page Lecture on Aquaculture
INDIA - Ornamental fish culture has the potential to create self-employment avenues, says Fisheries Development Officer, Tenali, P. Madhavi Latha, has said.Speaking at a guest lecture on ‘Bio-Secured Aquaculture’ held by the P.G. Department of Zoology at the T.J.P.S College, she said that farmers who follow bio-secured aquaculture practices could obtain better yield.
Seed, water management, feeding and salinity played a vital role in aquaculture practices, she said calling for better management techniques to increase the domestic consumption.
College principal C. Anil Kumar, Head of Department, Zoology, and Chand Basha were present.
