Print This Page Aqua Sur: Big Event for Canadian Aqua Business
CANADA - Atlantic Canada is well represented as this Year's Aqua Sur in Chile.
More than 15 of the region's companies and organisations, associated with its thriving aquaculture sector are at the international trade show.
The exhibition, held every second year, attracts buyers and sellers from more than 40 countries - it's a good place to do business.
Newfoundland Fisheries Minister Tom Rideout, is also attending the event. He says the Chilean aquaculture industry is one of the most successful in the world.
In a report listed for the Canadian Press, he says the country faced some very serious challenges and others can learn from its experiences.
