Vancouver Scallop Company Ripe for US Investment
NEW YORK - Edgewater Foods International Inc. has announced that it has engaged New York-based Consulting For Strategic Growth 1 (CFSG1) to provide strategic counsel on investor and public relations.
"We are now positioned for rapid growth as the chief producer of live Pacific Scallops in North America. As such, we are very pleased to engage CFSG1 to introduce the Company to the US investment and financial communities," said Rob Saunders, Chairman, CEO and President of Edgewater.
According to CNN, CFSG1 has previous experience with aquaculture companies, and wide expertise in capital formation. It's broad network of public and private investors will also benefit Edgewater's expansion and development plans.
Edgewater Foods International is the parent company of Island Scallops Ltd. ("ISL"), a Vancouver Island aquaculture company with the largest private marine research hatchery and the first fully integrated shellfish producer in Canada. The Company has developed unique proprietary hatchery technology that significantly increases growth yields while resisting disease, and as such, has virtually no existing competition for these marine species. The Company intends to significantly expand production and distribution.
