Print This Page Bell Aquaculture Expands with New HQ in Redkey
US - Bell Aquaculture has announced it has broken ground on a Redkey complex to house its corporate headquarters.
According to The Star Press, Wight & Company, an architecture and engineering firm from the Chicago area, is designing the 27,000-square-foot Redkey building. Construction is projected to be complete by the end of the year, said Michael Miller, president and chief operating officer of Bell Aquaculture.
The new Bell Aquaculture facility will be located in a Redkey industrial park. The facility could employ as many as 100 people, Miller said.
The Albany facility has been projected to employ 70 people.
Bell Aquaculture's Albany facility currently has a production capacity of 100,000 pounds of fish per year, but Miller plans to increase production to nine million pounds of fish per year.
