AUSTRALIA - Barramundi farmer Australis Aquaculture has secured a deal with US supermarket retailer Safeway which will see the company start selling its fresh and frozen products across 1740 stores this week.
According to the West Australia, company managing director Josh Goldman said the supply deal was a significant milestone for the company, helping to develop its brand as a mainstream seafood choice.
“The ability to service new customers like Safeway is an important component to meeting our 2008-2009 sales targets,” he said.
