Fish Rationing in Asia Pacific

According to Muriel Elizabeth Hayes of the Argentine BeefPackers, S.A., the joint deal announced on Friday, involves 25 countries who are members of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Association.

This follows similar moves in Europe which includes Russia, where the tuna is being fished to extinction.

The fish is popular in Japanese sushi bars, which can be found today in all parts of the world today.

Member countries of the Pacific Fisheries, include Australia, Fiji, United States, Canada, New Zealand Japan and South Korea among others.
