PetroSun BioFuels Starts Aquaculture Lease Program
The 744.69 surface acres of former catfish ponds are located in Humphreys County, Mississippi, near the town of Belzoni.
PetroSun BioFuels has authorised the leasing of up to 60,000 surface acres of former commercial fish ponds during Phase One of the Mississippi River Delta Aquaculture Lease Programme in Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama.
The company will commence commercial algae-to-biofuels operations upon the issuance of permits from the Department of Environmental Quality and/or other state agencies governing these activities within the geographical boundaries of the programme.
