Print This Page PetroSun Pushes Fish Farmers to Algae
US - PetroSun, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Aquaculture Lease Program is experiencing a positive response from the catfish industry as an alternative crop.
The focus of the leasing program has been catfish farms located within the Mississippi River Delta Region and Gulf Coast states of Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, Florida and Arkansas.
The company is also receiving interest in the program from the crawfish, baitfish and rice farming community.
The Associated Press released an article on March 8th that highlighted the catfish farm owned by Hall Barret and Liz Jordan of Belzoni, Mississippi, who executed the initial lease in the programme. The article is entitled "Weary Catfish Farmers Becoming Landlords of Algae." It may be viewed by entering the title of the release on Google.
