Bell Aquaculture Names New Vice President
The announcement is made by Michael Miller, President & Chief Operations Officer, who says McCowan has worked tirelessly in the start-up phase of the company and is much deserving of this promotion.
“Norman’s knowledge of the business of aquaculture and yellow perch is simply unparalleled,” Miller says. “We are very fortunate to have Norman on our management team at Bell Aquaculture. He previously served as Operations Manager for our company.”
McCowan brings more than 16 years of production management experience with manufacturing and assembly operations to Bell Aquaculture. He has extensive training in problem solving and continuous improvement processes. As a former pet store owner, vice president of Enchanted Koi and Water Gardens and Koi hobbyist for the past 15 years, McCowan has been involved in all aspects of raising, breeding and marketing fish. He continues to live his passion for fish through his responsibilities at Bell. McCowan attended Ivy Tech State College and was graduated from Jay County High School in 1988.
