ARGENTINA - National Food Safety and Quality Service (SENASA) officials carried out the first Beagle Channel audit for `zone classification,’ a declaration that would certify its waters as being of the best quality for aquaculture production.
According to a news report from FIS, if that classification is obtained, the Secretary of Sustainable and Ambient Development of Tierra Del Fuego said that a series interesting international markets will open.
Similarly, the local productive sector is aiming at international markets, since local and regional consumption is lower than production.
