Carp Farm in Disused Dock Architecture Student Project

Hi,

I am an architecture student proposing a fish farm in a disused dock in London for my final year project and was hoping somebody might be able to help answer some questions regarding its feasibility.

The docks are approx. 150 acres and 10m deep. Controlling waste is a key issue in the project and so cages are unsuitable. However, I was wondering if it may be possible to convert the docks into a recirculating pond system carp farm? How feasible would this be? What are the conditions required (water flow, draining, spillways, depth)? And how could they be achieved?
