Chile Salmon and Trout Report - April 2008
Chilean exports of salmon and trout grew again during 2007, both in volume and value reports FAO Globefish. Their share of total Chilean fishery exports grew in terms of volume but fell in terms of value. While there has been an increase in total production, the salmon industry has been seriously affected by several outbreaks of the ISA virus.
Russia Trade of Fish and Seafood Products
USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Gain Report says that according to Russia’s Federal Customs Service, Russian fish and fish product imports totaled $1.7 billion in 2007, a 44-percent increase from 2006.
